Willow Brook Primary School, Leyton, is celebrating their recent Ofsted judgment of ‘Outstanding in all areas.’ Willow Brook has twice been placed in Special Measures, most recently in May 2014.
Inspectors were impressed by the depth of learning, creative opportunities and the rapid and sustained academic progress and attainment by all pupils. The report reads,
‘The lively atmosphere and the buzz of activity in the school reflect the pupils’ real enthusiasm for learning. Pupils enjoy coming to a school where they are encouraged to aim high.’
The Ofsted report also praised the school for its wide range of opportunity, saying,
”The core subjects are strongly supported by an exceptionally wide range of enrichment activities available to all pupils.’
Head, Graham Clifford said,
The speed and sustainability of the impact we have seen at Willow Brook is testament to the Griffin Schools Trust’s vision and values and the absolute commitment by all members of staff that every child deserves an education which at least equals that offered in the best fee paying schools.
