Henri Rousseau – whole school art project

This week, the whole school are focusing on the renowned artist Henri Rousseau (1844-1910) who was a French impressionist painter whose painting ‘The tiger in a tropical storm (surprised)’ has become one of the most recognised images in the art world today.

All week, the children have dived into Rousseau’s use of colour and texture and have channelled this into their own creativity as they created their own artworks.
